Director: Juan Pablo Santiagos founder of Santiagos Produciones in 1997, after a long career as an alpine and mountain bike racer where he raced as an alpine skier from the age of 4 until 22. Santiagos was a six time Chilean National Alpine Champion. Santiagos also raced in the ‘88 Calgary Olympic games, placing 21st in the slalom. He was the ’89 World Alpine Champion held at Vail, CO, USA. In ‘90 he started racing mountain bikes, where he entered the UCI World Cup circuit, placing 12th at the ’92 World Championships in Bromont Canada, then 4th at the ’94 Mt. Sainte Anne Quebec, Canada’s downhill elite event.

Since 1997, Santiagos has been involved in organizing various sporting events such as the Chilean National Snowboard Championships, Mountain Bike Championships and Windsurfing National Championships. He is also involved in the adventure racing series.

Race Manager: Pablo Sosa, “Sosa” (his nickname) is the brainchild behind the TransAndes Challenge.

Sosa, (How we call him) is the person in charge of the planification and coordination of  the race of Trans Andes Challenge. Where the race will go through, and probably during some stages, you will hate him.

He was a swimmer when a kid, 10 seasons playing rugby and after that an dedicated triathlete for 7 years; racing at the famous Pucón triathlon in 1989/90 and 1991 go to live to Patagonia and discover the mountain and your passion for the race organization. Sosa make a lot of races of MTB and the first adventure races in Argentina for the 90´. Work for different brands making sport marketing, events and promotion. He is involved in the organization and planification of many events like the Eco Peugeot Salomon Traverse/Argentina 2003 (Race Director) Salomon X-Series /Argentina & Chile 2004 (Race Director), 5to AXN Desafio de los Volcanes /Argentina-Chile 2005 (Technical Staff), NOKIA Snowboard World Cup-Valle Nevado /Chile 2002/4

Race Coordinator: Victor Gonzalez is passionate about the outdoors. He has been an adventure racer for the past 6 years.

Victor is one person who loves outdoors. He will be in charge of the logistic for lodging, camps, vehicle transportations,  a lot more relates staff…

He have been an Adventure racer for the last 6 years.  He  work in “Team Building “ for differents Chilean companies. Also a person in charge as a race director for differents Mountain Bike races in Chile and he will organized the 1st Adventure race with dogs during January 2008. Se will be working with us for this amazing Mountain bike race.

Jose  is a ski coach for Valle Nevado since 1990, he has been involved in different events with Santiagos Producciones, mainly in music events. Registration and Web Page Coordinator: Jorge Guerra Durán.

Jorge is a addict to the freeride mountain bike riding. He is in charge  of all the “Back office”  of the registration and the main web master to keep the web page running smooth.

Also , he will be the person to have the web page updates in every stage, results, photo gallery and all the info you friends and family wants to know.

He have been working for Santiagos Productions for the last 6 years. He is the man to communicate all the events to the media, and let then know what is happening in each of the crazy events that Juan Pablo create.
